Good work Andy, it's come up really well! Hopefully the knocking won't be anything major, you don't need something else to sort

Thanks they was painted by my mate who as a body shop. Got a list of stuff to do to it but little things break on it. Then they get put on hold. The cars done 990000 odd miles. But that doesn't worry me as can with most things can be sorted. In the way of people on here that sell parts and some helpful people

Thanks and I agree mileage doesn't bother me either...I just got rid of a VX220 with 115000 miles on the clock and was running perfectly.....the painted handles are definitely on my list of to do over the winter...cheers and good luck:uk:

looks very good..bet you put your arms into work there..did you spray or brush paint it??

Second hand beam fitted sat I now have two rear wheels with the right camber. Also while rear beam was of found out that the osr break was seized sold not good. Recleaned and now got good breaks. Replaced front drop link on the front but still knocking. Found a bush in the fns lower wish bone as gone. Mark at midlands Renault specialists top guy says can replace the bush in it with out replacing the whole wishbone. Which as you know these wishbone are exspensive. And front fog lights now working also IMG_1771.JPG IMG_1770.JPG

......and breathe !

That’s quite a few updates / improvements / fixes in one go  Bet it’s feeling way better.

So is the wishbone bush on the cards to be done soon ?

Yes mate hopefully he gets them in this week. For fitting next week

Have pm a guy on here as he's got two for sale on here. See if he gets back to me

It's rolling better lol and mpg gone up just shows it must of been dragging

A worthwhile bit of work going on there Andy, good to hear she's sorted with the brakes. I've had the same issues in the past with them seizing, can turn out costly if you don't catch it in time!

Yeah it's getting there pal still got a list of jobs to do tho. Honestly thinking about a turbo lump going in it next year.

It's just turned 100000 miles today on the clock. And it goes so well with those miles on it

Well got the stereo fitted yesterday with steering wheel controls as well

Some one called French Montana on the radio sounds not very French to me :tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy:View attachment 115872

Love that buddy !!

The Orange will work so well with the dash lights etc. Good job

Could you link me to the stereo and the lead please......

***Do all normal steering wheel controls work: and the information binnacle too ?

*Found the stereo. I presume the fascia colour is changeable....

Got the stereo from Halfords Kenwood KDC-BT710DAB with dab Ariel and colour is changeable to orange

As with the steering wheel controls they all work with the lead. But the binnacle just displays Renault and time now. Which is fine for me but can get another lead at a cost of £60 to make the binnacle work. But didn’t both going for that pal.

A independent stereo shop not Halfords fitted it all for me with the lead and fitting for a £100. The lead on its own is £60. Wish I’d waited as there are a couple of patch leads on here now for sale. Would pm the guy on here fella for the lead he as for sale at £20
