Morning!

I have my lovely black 2007 full fat 197 - 40k miles basically, never missed a beat.

I've got the itch to either modify the 197, coilies etc, or for some turbo action and to change to this:

I can afford to do it either way, but I've had the 197 2 years and generally only keep cars for 3, is it a waste spending 1-2k on the 197 only to sell it in a year?

Love the 197, would miss it, what would you do? lol

If your power hungry then in my opinion your wasting your time and moeny with a 197. I'd rather just get the scooby and be done with it.

Yeah the 197 is a fun car but due to lack of developement and aftermarket parts out there its a real headache trying to modify and the only turbo kit on the market is proving very unreliable with ktec.


I'd trade it in and get the subaru.

Unfortunately in the real world the road isnt a racetrack, you'll have trouble finding a scenario on the road where you'd beat a subaru.

a big fan of modifying mate. id keep the 197 the subaru is a horrible thing. u gunna put a drain pipe on it and hang from the window?

if you love the clio then mod it and love it more/keep it longer personally id got for an evo or an astra vxr over the scooby but thats me
