So, i've bought myself a 197! I used to be an Audi S4 owner until last year when a house purchase beckoned and had to sell it. But the time has come to purchase a toy again and a 197 seemed about right really.
Got this last week, relatively cheap as it's due belts next year and its got the usual 2nd/3rd crunch, not too bad yet, but is looming! Purchased the car with the synchro hub kit anyway, so will fit in due course. I will be aiming to be doing track days next year, so will be doing some light stuff to it to make it track ready, not going full out on it though! Brakes and tyres will be first on the shopping list and then see what else follows that.
The car is pretty clean though, on 105k, with just a few bits of paintwork needing a bit of tidying, front bumper mainly! It's had a few mods already, Milltek resonated cat-back, Ramair induction, H&R springs and 20mm spacers on the rear
