It’s a been made from a chopped up Corsa vxr (opc from your neck of the woods) bumper and fibre glassed in, he had a nightmare matching the paint so fell out with the idea I think

Yeah it’s a nice one, we follow each other on instagram some nice touches, the paint work looks a lot different to any other A&D/raider etc

Not sure. An A&D with over 60k kilometers in the clock was just sold by a dealer in the Netherlands for about 18k € and somebody who's currently selling his SAE with over 100k still wants 15.5k € for it.

Like said I already saw this mod on some other Clios and would have expected you can buy it like that. Thanks for the info.

It actually doesn't looks much different to me. I think they've played with the saturation on the photos quite a bit. Maybe that's why it gives that impression?

The market must be better in mainland europe, the one in my pictures above, we went to pick up a couple of months ago and only went for 9.5k the market really isn’t here for them yet, people have got big fears of the matte paint and they weren’t very loved from the start

Yeah maybe, I had though of that, if so he seems to get the tweaks perfect every time, maybe it’s just the horrible British weather making the UK ones look dull haha

Yes, prices seem to go up over here.

Not sure. I also noticed that yours seems to be a bit darker then the ones I know. This could only be related to the photos but I've the suspicion that it actually has to do with the car care products you're using.

Yeah it is more than likely the swissvax altering the colour but it does massively change with the lighting in pictures also, I’ve just stuck to what Renault recommend regarding care

What do you use on yours ?

Presumably, yes. Also seems to make it a little more shiny.

So far I've only used a normal car shampoo and nothing else. I just got me a cleaner/detailer and a spray wax especially for matte paints from a German manufacturer but didn't had time to test them so far. It's this stuff here. They also have an other set with a shampoo, a stronger cleaner and a normal wax all especially for matte paint and foils in program which is a little more expensive but I wanted to try out their products first before I buy this one.

Yeah it does look a little more satin tbh I really like the look of it that way,

I may have a look into some different products, but will have to strip my layers of swissvax off

Could be the case. You should have a direct comparison with the other Raider or is it also covered in Swisswax?

Getting everything off could be a tough task.

What I don't get is why you still haven't switched to chrome exahust tips?

Btw, do you use a pressure washer to clean it? Would explain why it's more shiny than others.

    They are chrome ??

Only for snow foam, and I don’t use full pressure and never up close, mainly use it to blast the arches out and wheels ect

It’s the swissvax leaving the satin finish, or as you like to put it shiny, but the paint is protected and it’s a nice finish when clean

Ooops...carbon of course. Silly me!

That's good to hear. Then it's really just the wax that makes it look like that. There's nothing wrong with the look. Please don't get me wrong here. It's just that I've stumbled about the cleaning instruction from Renault and it explicitly says no pressure washers if you want to keep the matt look. I got me a spray wax for matt paints but didn't applied it so far. I'm curious if it'll change anything look wise. At the same time I'm also a little afraid about using it but think I'll give it a try when it's gotten a bit warmer outside.

I’ve never gone for the tips as I always fully intended to go for a full carbon diffuser, and didn’t think the carbon on carbon would look that good, hence keeping the silver rs badge

Yeah it must be the wax, yeah I’m fully aware of the issues with the pressure washer, my car came with a specific set of instructions in a booklet saying not to use regular detergents, automatic car washers, and pressure washers

Ok, that's an other cool and so far not realised option as far as I know. Looking forward to see that mod one day.

Good, I think it's the same multilingual flip thingy that I have? Some people with A&Ds or SAEs don't have it over here for what ever reasons so I've made them copies. I also have a sticker on the pocket for the instructions that has symbols showing exactly what you say. Seems to be for/from the Ange & Démon edition as it also says something in French. I'm always keen to have all available papers, instructions and so on together and also got a copy of the sales brochure for my version.

Btw, mine came without that RS badge but the C L I O letters instead or have you removed yours?
