Thanks, I thought I would give it a go, great to learn something new,

I know I need to give it some more track time hasn’t been one one since the ring 2 years ago 574edabc63ee46f89fe33ebc181c3fd6.jpg

We have the track 182 now so it’s just my fast road car (ironically it’s the slowest car i now own) it will get a good blast over the moors to blow the cob webs off when spring comes back around

Hi mate how's it going! I'm fairly new on here so just been nosing at people's project threads and came across yours.

Read it from start to finish and your car is genuinely stunning! The alcantara roof lining is also on my list as I had done it in the 182 and it made a big difference. It won't quite be as fancy as yours with the stitching though lol. The alcantara sun visors really finish it off.

With the RARB did I read correctly that it's adjustable and did it really make that much difference? I had one on my old Clio as well but the previous owner fitted it so never had chance to see a difference in the before and after.

I almost cried when I saw the state of the streamline carbon front end. I hope the clear wrap is still holding up well!

Sorry for the long post but there was a lot to go through lol!

EDIT: I may be wrong but did you go on the Yorkshire Dales run a few years ago? I know there was a Raider as I was looking at the matte paint and thought I recognised the reg plate.

Now then mate, thanks for taking the time to read through,

The alcantatra is one of my favourite mods, makes the outside world a lot more visible as you probably know already, feels a little more luxury too (aswell as Clio’s can get haha)

Yeah wasn’t impressed with the lacquer on that, it literally dropped to bits in a couple of weeks, but now it’s looking fresh as ever the paint protection film is awesome there’s not a mark on it and when I get swirls I just heat it up and they just disappear in front of my eyes, unbelievable stuff

The difference is night and day with the arb, yeah it’s adjustable I have it in the stiffest setting the turn in is crazy good compared to standard really struggle to find understeer, and over steer is a lot more predictable and controllable, makes a lot of fun on greasy roundabouts, now with the blistein coilovers it’s on 3 wheels most corners, I also have a 182 track car and fitted the pms 22mm arb on that and that was also outstanding the difference it made

I could well of been mate I’ve been to a lot of meets in it, need to get to some more tbh, kinda fizzled out the last year or so

Thanks again mate

Haha no problem! Yeah the roof lining makes it feel so much nicer instead of the standard cream. How did you paint all the plastics though, mainly the rear view mirror. On the 182 I used some flexible vinyl paint but only had to do the A pillars so it was easy.

I had a lot of streamline carbon parts on my old car but the only bits that really suffered was the fog light surrounds. The rest was fine. What sort of price was it to have them wrapped? I wanted to paint the front blade on mine but didn't want any stone chips lol.

Haha the arb sounds awesome! Definitely going to be a future purchase  I had the whiteline arb before.

Got a DSLR for my birthday so decided to give it a whirl, photos are no means perfect, need a lot more practice with composition and lighting ect

The car is perfectly fine, he’s just removed the bumper and stored it away as far as I know at the minute

Ah, ok. Not really a fan of that bumper anyway. Saw it a couple of times now already. Any idea where it's from?

Btw, you guys know about the A&D from the admin of cliors-concept.com? If not have a look here (scroll down a bit). Not my style but there was quite some effort put into it.

Had a look, too many miles compared with my R27.

The miles aren’t bad but tbh it’s well over priced too soon to be requesting that sort of money, but if you have a low mile minter you do right keeping hold of it [emoji106]
