Respraying diffuser back to OEM (ish)

Hello all, now i may be going against the grain with this BUT, my diffuser is currently painted gloss black which in my opinion looks a bit rubbish.

I am wanting to go back towards the OEM grey colour, I am looking at using Halfords Plastic Bumper paint in light grey (2 x cans)

Finished off with matt lacquer (1 can)

Any advice ? I notice it says the use of a primer isnt needed which is good.

How about the colour match ?

Gloss black on a 200, Grey on a 197

I'm not sure I'd want to go back to Grey from black though, have you thought about matte black? rather than gloss?

On the 200 it is. 197 its grey plastic.


OT: I think the problem you might have with that paint is that its obviously going to be for spraying directly onto plastic, not onto paint which yours is. you might be best of buying a normal spray paint in matt grey? Pretty sure halfords do this also.

Its probably not worth your while doing a straight swap as in my opinion it needs respraying anyway. Thanks for the offer though.
