Was driving through Worcester the other day with the Mrs, thought I'd pop into the RS dealer whilst I was passing as was advised by my local Renault dealer (Cheltenham) that Worcester's the RS dedicated "experts"!!
Mrs sits in a 200 in the showroom, salesman comes over, was freindly enough and asks if i needed any help. Now Im new to Renault so just mentioned we'd recently bought a 197 R27 (altho not picking up till mid Feb)and i was just showing her the 200. His reply was "R27....is that a Golf?" Without trying to sound like a smartarse I replied its a Clio, the shape before this.
Bit uncomfortable I then mentioned the matt grey 200 Raider they had outside on display, saying it looked stunning. He said lots of people get drawn to the paint work. I then asked about them doing a matt red version as well don't they but the poor guy didn't have a clue.
Now I'm not having a go at the guy personally, it may have been his first day for all I know...but come on, from my limited knowlege of Renault Sport so far, I was kinda hoping an RS dealer might have been able to educate me a bit or at least know the basics. As this is my nearest RS dealer it did get me a bit worried actually, certainly hope the service Dept isn't the same should i need anything doing.
Anyway rant over, couple of pics of the Raider:
Actually..rant on again..couldn't believe the screen price..21,695!!! hmy:
