Refititting battery surround

Removed my airbox recently and I am struggling to get the battery surround back in due to lack of space when re-fitting everything.

Essentially I am re-fitting in reverse order (in true Haynes manual fashion)

The airbox is currently in its locating points , thinking of pushing it further back to give me a few more cm's to fit battery surround and then try relocating the airbox in its locating points.

Weather has been shocking today so not had chance to try this yet.

Any tips ?

Iirc when I did mine, I got the back in first.

I had the airbox in where it was supposed to be, didn't leave it out at all.

But its an absolute swine of a job.

The battery surrounds never seem to fit straight once they've been out

Yeah it's a pig to do , it's never coming out again if I can help it. It's not as though it can be left out as it's needed to secure the fuse boxes in place
