Rear axle toe and camber setup

I'm looking to change my current suspension setup in the new year (cup shocks h&r springs) for some coilovers probably gaz golds with either simo or ast top mounts. Around the same time I was intending on getting the rear axle shimmed to add/correct camber is this the kind of thing any good tire shop can do or am I better off trying to find a specialist to carry out the work? Those who have had this done where did you go? I know I will probably need to provide my own shims for this. Thanks for any help.

I would suggest a specialist, we used Brosport to fit the Simo top mounts and rear shims. They are a bit of a jaunt for you, I'm sure there will be one closer.

It is not difficult to have the rear shimmed as long as you measure it first and order the desirable shims:smile: Any decent mechanic can do it. Bear in mind that fitting camber shims will affect the toe therefore you'd have to counteract it with toe shims, I think I've got the matrix somewhere...

you would have to lower the car then take the measurements prior to ordering shims, thanks for the feedback guys if you can find the matrix yiannis that would be awesome mate
