I believe you were incorrectly quoted for a Megane diff.

197/200 diff £595+vat
Labour to remove gearbox, strip down, install diff and refit in car £480+vat
Gearbox oil £35+vat.

Its a big job and not something that can be rushed. We usually need the car for a day and a half to be on the safe side.

We also have courtesy cars available for customers having this type of work done.

I've had mine done, all standard except an ITG panel filter.

Massively improved cold start and smoother power delivery. Slight increase in power and torque too.

I think it was worth it, just for improved cold start performance and removal of the flat spot.

Does this have an effect on fuel consumption? I only ask as my work colleagues have both had their VXR & Focus ST's remapped & it improved their fuel consumption for the better???
