Proper introduction

I've been lurking around for a few months now and i've finally bought my first 197, so i thought it was time for a proper introduction!

My name is Arthur and i'm 26 years old, i live in The Netherlands opproximately 20 mins above Amsterdam. I'm an F16 Mechanic by profession at the RNLAF.

I've been hanging around UK's boards for quite some time now, examples being CS, Williamclio, RTOC, Turborenault etc. so some of you may know me already.....

As our main interest is cars i'll show you a few of my rides:

My current daily, a 2005 Clio dci 100 (which will be replaced by the 197):



My 330bhp Renault 9:



And my resprayed R5gtt (which has been tucked away for 5 years now:nope:


I don't have any pics of the 197 yet, all i can tell its a 2007 LY F1 Team :001_tt1:

It's not really a sensible choice for me to make as i drive about 20.000 miles a year but after driving the Dci for 3 years i got bored and finally found my dream car!

An F16 mechanic, wow! So do you get to take them out on a 'road test' after you've worked on them?

Lol, unfortunately not. I do get to test the engine in a testcell though, awesome power:-p

Welcome mate, im a newbie too - but we have the RTOC in common:thumbup1:

May have seen just sold my 5 and replaced it with a 197

TOTALLY different driving experience but i do enjoy the refinement of the 197.

Any more pics of your current car? 8)
