Projectors on the way!! :-) Advice please

I should have some projector headlights being delivered tomorrow and i was wondering what bulbs i need. Im not going down the HID kit route yet so im just going to replace all my nulbs for xenon look ones.

Is it a case of, bumper off, lights out, new lights in and bumper back on?
All the connections are the same etc?

Am i correct in saying that i need:

H1 for dipped beam?
H7 for full beam?
and a non wired up H7 bulb to fill the hole for the cornering lights?

are the indicators the same, and side lights still w5w?

Cheers all.

i think you nedd to swap height adjustment motors over if you havent already got them in the new lights

If your getting new projector lights then you will be silly not to add Xeons Dom.

Unless of course cost is a problem, they are well worth it + simple to fit

You need H1 for dipped beam, H7 for high beam and H7 for cornering. Although the cornering lights wont work you need to fill the gaps, just use the bulbs from your standard lights.

Cheers folks.

It's not a cost this Tyler. I just can't be bothered to fit washers for my lights yet.

I've been reading that it's an mot failure to have hid behind a lens that is not cleaned with a washer.

nope, its not on the MOT list of things to check.
Passed plenty of MOT's with HID's

It's from 2012 Tyler.

Non of it matters anyway lol.
They came in the post today and they are buggered.
All the clips are broke off.
And the actual lighting unit has totally come away from the light casing.

Bin for them I think.

Thanks for all the help folks.
It's still handy for when I get a set that works

Yeh. He sent me a refund n told me to stick em in the bin.
Sort of suggests he was trying it on :-(

Ah well. Nothing lost.

I'll wait a bit and get some from Karl.
New splitter first I think.

not sure what happened to my post, but I said

The MOT garage would never know, only by taking the bulb out, which means a bumper of job.
Don't see it happening tbh
