Im in Sligo.

To save the effort of making more wing mirror trims you can get them in carbon for €48, although it doesn't look like 2x2 twill: http://pitlanemotorsport.com/shop/e...-lengthening-in-carbon-fibre-for-mirrors.html

These ones look 2x2 twill, but are quite pricey vs making your own I guess.

Cheers for that, like all AC "carbon" parts you get 1 layer of carbon backed up with 2/3 layers of fiberglass.
I can make them 100% carbon from off cuts for next to nothing.

Cheers guys, I was planning a lot of jobs over the holidays but the
Alternator decided to pack up Xmas week so it won't be running
Until the repair shop is back at work.

I didn't even get a chance to drive it with the new suspension
And rims fitted

Nothing cooler than a performance van, my brother has a Mk4 Golf R32 van too

As there was no longer rear seat belts fitted I didn't like the look of the remaining
holes in the C pillar trims.



I filled with fiberglass on the back.





Skim of filler on the front



And flocked



Front grills also got some matt black.

Great project, they made a clio van in Europe, I've seen the parcel shelves for sale on eBay before but not the longer supports.

After only about 400 mile of ownership the alternator failed while parked up for
3 weeks, not even while in use.







Now refitted and the car is gone to have the airbag/seatbelt lights put out.
