Possible fueling problem. PLEASE HELP!

Thank you guys, I will check all the above mentioned

if I find what the problem is I will let you guys know

thanks once again

I’m going to change the crank sensor over the weekend.
Some guys in my club says it’s possibly that because of the misfiring.

I will just have to check all the possible factors

Hi guys last week my mate Kelly came around he plugged the car on the laptop using the RS tuner program and went for a drive and I put the car through its paces.

we found out that there was a history of multiple misfiring and it was on cylinder 1, that history was probably saved on the ECU when I was experiencing the problems.

And you know Murphy’s law………. the car didn’t give any problems the car was performing fantastic it didn’t skip a beat.

The day before we did the road test I did remove and cleaned the crank sensor and fuel filter the crank sensor was very dirty, completely covered in a black sticky resin.

Through all of this frustration and scratching on the car everyday I think the problem was caused to a new fuel company in SA called Astron fuel where I normally fill up with either Shell, Sasol or Caltex.

Im still not 100% sure if that was the cause of the misfire and all the other problems that happened during that time the car probably doesn’t like the fuel.
