Plates help please

Just went to put personal plates on and noticed the original are stuck on!

Any 1 know best way to get them off without damaging the paint?

Try wetting behind the plate so the sticky pads are wet. The just pull of slowly, that's what I would do.

Then to get the remaining sticky residue off, use a tar remover.

Tar remover. They usually just pull off with brute force, then you need the tar remover to get rid of the residue.

get some strong fishing line and slice through the sticky pads and then use some sticky stuff remover

All done, tried floss helped a little then just got angry and pulled them off lol

Used the sticky bits to line up new plates and then drilled some holes!
