Because they will chip/flake and look a bollox?

They take a right battering, and no rattle can finish will last. They always end up looking ratty after 12 months.

A proper fix would be to use something like this

Git my front grilles painted in work yesterday. Thought the guys did a good job. They looked awful before. Il put a pic up fitted tonight.

seriously need this doing! how did you go about getting them off? yank and hope job or get the bumper off?

Easy mate, they just pull off. You can lever them with a screwdriver from the corners though, just make suremyou put a cloth over it or you will damage your paint..

Yeah as [MENTION=29138]Chris91[/MENTION] said pull from the bottom corners, pull them slowly but with a bit of pressure and they will come off.
