oil top up

cars not due for service for another 6k,checked the oil and half way on dipstick.what top up oil is reccomended?

5w 40 is the normal stuff, do you not have the 1 litre bottle in the boot?

I've stuck the the OEM Elf stuff too.

If you haven't got any it's about £11/Litre from any Renault dealership.
