New member but please help!!!

Just got my first Clio 197 and absolutely love it!!!

I have just driven it home quite a few miles and it seems fine, but the only thing I found was that when driving at speed changing from 2nd gear into 3rd it seems a bit crunchy and not as smooth as the other gears. When changing from 2nd into 3rd at slower speeds it felt smooth and the same as changing through all the other gears. Is this normal?

Please advise as I am worried there now may be a gear problem with mine!

Alot of them ahve problems with gearboxes and things so might want to take it into and have them look at it.

I had my gearbox replaced after 20k

they can be very notchy. wouldnt worry.

ive found it not very willing to get it into gear when giving it the right foot. if it ok when driving it at the normal road limit then its normal.

2nd to 3rd for me is also VERY stiff and crunchy feeling, always miss that gear when im having it lol, bouncing off the limiter lol! blut blut blut.

i think its a common problem then,

cause i struggle sometimes as well when giving it some to get it into 3rd.

when i got mine i kept missing the change from 2nd to 3rd, was abit embarrassing wen i was trying to impress my mates with my new car. you get used to it though
