As I have recently done some mods, I thought it might be nice to open my own "Progress" thread.
When I bought the car in June, I had the next mod list.
- Akrapovic ==> DONE
- Semi-slick tyres for trackdays
- Other rims for road use
- A roof spoiler
- (Maybe a remap) ==> DONE
Well things went a bit differently ...
The Clio is becoming the promo car of a Belgian tuning firm, Called Apec Belgium.
The guy proposed to me that he would install my Akra for free, and he would remap it. In exchange I have to run the Clio with some decals on it. Not that much in return imo.
Anyway:
Here are some videos:
A video that shows the power in lower revs. It really has now what it lacked in the lower revs. I adore it.

I do not know what gains I got from the remap. The second lambda-sensor has been disabled, so the ECU has to lear according to my tuner. A dyno run will be done later.
But it already feels a lot stronger. The fact that we do not exceed the maximum values too much ( it wil be about 10 hp gain and same for the torque ) makes me confident. We do not stress the drivetrain too much ... am I right?
