So, had my clio nearly 3 weeks now.. I wasnt planning on doing anything major to it.. But i kinda have to now haha!!

Here is the beast the first time i polished it

Thought i was buying a completely standard black 197 with Cup chassis, but i was soo wrong..

Bad points:

-front bumper is paggered with stone chips from obviously what seems to be lots of motorway miles :/ its not'too' bad though..
-rear bumper has had a little bit of respray, but nothing too major
-steering wheel has melted a little :worried:((

First of all i noticed it had the meg230 18" alloys on, which i would of probably aimed to get anyway!

These came with 4 ContiSport3's with plenty of chucky tread! Soo lucky..

Next find was last night when weebob was inspecting..
It has 4 of these bad boys all the way around plus tweeters!

I decided i didnt like the shocking strangely 'sticky-outy' ehaust tips.. Which nobody could explain..

They looked awful and were slash cut very badly.. So went to get them changed today..

They look dark, but the orange comes through really well still which is surprizing..

Also on order:
Sprint Spoiler
Bullets to be sprayed

I honestly had no major plans like exhaust or wheels, but why not eh :tongueout:

What do you think?!

Also, does anybody recognise this car/reg plate?

Hahaha that's awesome

Something doesn't look right about the exhaust though. I can see two big boxes in the middle that have no place being on the car.

They are called catalistic converters.. And they are staying hahaa!!

Also, i wouldnt know how different a 197 would handle on original wheels, but me and Weebob had some roundabout fun and some roads, whereas his was beginning to slide a little, mine followed through at similar speeds rock solid

Although his is a standard chassis and he has 'Kum Hoe' tyres on haha!

It handled fantastically.. How come people say such little things dirupt the handling?

im with deadmau5, that exhaust looks badly made and fitted, way to much pipe work around the diffuser, flow must be rubbish!!

but im liking everything else, love the wheels!!

car looks great although the exhaust looks like its been butchered to fit

how did u tin the repeaters? shrink the film over it?

I think deadmau5 meant the Cats haha.. I dont know much about exhausts really..

It sounds nice which is what mainly matters! If i was after gains ide probably get it changed, but im not fussed for now  it was free! In a way....

Yeah, just got some 'light matt black' tinting film and used a heat gun and pulled it round

Very nice, me want a sprint spoiler! Bullets look great, I want to know how they manage to make such a neat job of the lettering!
