miltek exhaust

i have a miltek exhaust system with no centre silencer sounds nice but i want it a bit louder if i had a decat pipe on it would this make the flat spot worse i can notice it now at 2.5k and can this be remapped out if so anyone know any good ones in the south wales area thanks

It will "magnify" the current flatspot yes. I think it was Ben that said on the standard ECU its almost impossible to map out the flatspot and the only solution was to go for an anftermarket ECU.

Seems like a lot of hassle and expense for just more noise I'd say.

Mine was mapped before the decat but not after it until a few months later and it was fine to me

Thats how I read the 1st post ;/

Removing both cats needs aftermarket/standalone ECU to map out the flatspot.

I just assumed you had the milteck de-cat ;/

If you take any of the cats out you will magnify the flatspot, especially if youve gor no centre section, mapping will help but wont fully remove the flatspot. You just have to learn to drive round the flatspot.
