How easy is it to remove calipers to paint?

Was wondering how easy it would it be to remove the calipers all round on the 197's and is it best to get them professionally painted? if anyone has had them painted how much does it cost on average?

Thanks

I painted mine in situ. Took the pads out the brembos but left the pads in the rears. Taped everything up and used a tin of red enamel paint which was £6 and some brushes that were £5. I think in this weather it would be best to spray paint them as the enamel paint would take forever to cure in the cold.

I just seen these on a Clio and I have just fallen in love with them!

I bought some cheap calipers off eBay for my 182. I have sent then to the Brake Caliper Specialist and for a full refurb and paint I'm looking at over £300. There is around a 3 week turnaround so haven't got them back yet. You can also buy the paint from them.

As for taking the calipers off if you can do routine maintainence on your car its easy. The only issue you would have would be to clamp the hoses to prevent the fluid leaking.
