as per title, planning to have a look at a Meg225 next week. its a 5 door 55 plate in blue with xenons, keyless entry, looks like a non-cup (silver brembos), full service history (which I hope will include cambelt change but suspect it wont). 58k miles.

what things to look out for on these? im guessing they suffer the same issue with brake pads seizing in the calipers. are the gearboxes a weak point like the clios?

any tips or advice would be great  thanks. Aaron.

door window regulators are a known issue as are the front perfo-hub swivel joints - these are actual bearings that can seize up

engine and boxes are robust if maintained correctly

thanks foxspeed how would one determine if these particular items are faulty/on their way out.

windows wont be smooth to operate and may not respond straight away

steering will be poor to self centre and could feel heavy when turned from the straight ahead position - can also jam at an angle if powering out of a turn/junction
