iv had my car 2weeks now. and cos i work early mornings and late nights, i get in the car when its freezing cold.......when i start it up i leave it for a minute or two to get a bit warm. but it takes me forever to get the bugger in reverse! once its in its fine! but its getting it in thats a problem! theres no grinding noises....just wont go in!

Are you reversing out? If so try reversing in so you start up going forward, apparently it's also better for the car I was always told.

I assume use tried putting it in first or another forward gear then selecting reverse? I have to do this on cold mornings

You could try changing to a better quality gearbox oil, this made my gearbox feel much better

Mine does the same, I just clutch in shift through a few gears before trying reverse

Mines always been the same when cold, all I do is switch it off, put it in gear and restart it.

yeh i always reverse out. glad its a popular thing though! iv heard bout the dodgy boxes on these. ill av to start reversing in on the night. cheers everyone
