gearbox mount.

I've fitted 2 out of 3 of my k-tec mount. I only jacked the car up with axle stand either side and used the jack to take the engine weight swapped the torque link over which was easy... top left mount well.. :swear: so many parts to come off but done but can't see where the right one goes? I didn't take the wheels off so I assume its behind the arch lining on the near side? I'll do that one tomorrow though.

more vibration but assuming it doesn't help having the std gearbox mount but response feels better so Im happy.

so can any one tell me or show me where the gearbox mount is?

it will be under the battery tray side of the engine bay

I looked under that side last night but couldn't see anything.

it will be more towards the n/s chassis leg - have you removed the n/s wheelarch to have a look...

I didn't and that was were I was going to look tonight just wanted to see if anyone knew for definite.

then you can get full access to it.

Wow that was hard! All done and feels so much better, no loss of drive when changing gearn original mount was actually starting to eat itself!
