Alas, some sunshine around the UK (shame it had to hold off until after the bank holiday weekend!)

I'm usually a bit of a clean-a-hollic and a week rarely goes by without a deep cleanse! And with the summer sun this week I couldn't even wait for the weekend! There's just something about this colour that's just mega! I always wanted a White RS, and even after seeing mine on auto trader I wasn't 100% sure about the colour, but in person there's nothing quite like it! (Even after my girlfriend described it as 'disgusting' there was no backing down!!)

But anyway, thought I'd put some pictures up of mine considering I've never really shared pictures of it before! It's standard, with no real future plans for it, as I love it the way it is (just wish I had them Recaro's!!) Maybe requiring a wheel refurb in the future, it looks like the dealership I bought from has a knock off refurb done, pressure washer literally blasted through the coating haha!

Funny, I wanted an RS, but really didn't want a white one, but that's what I ended up buying! Liquid Yellow is the mutt's nuts. My white one...well it's a really nicely specced car & it does everything I want. I know it should be easy to sell on (though I have no intention of doing so for a very long time), but it's just not a liquid yellow! Enjoy it mate. I just keep telling myself that my paint is easier to look after, but I'd still take an LY in the same spec over mine.

I was really stubborn for so long and literally would not budge from looking at anything other than a White RS, and I still love the look of them! Then I went through a faze of liking the Gordini's in white (minus the stripes, I'm not a fan of them on Gordini's but that's a personal preference thing!)

I saw the advert for this last year though at a dealership in Crewe, 12 plate with 8,000 miles, an absolute minter (before I noticed the botch job alloy refurb that's now apparent) and I loved the colour! Lost out on the Recaro's and cup pack but I had to compromise! I've clocked 20,000 miles in it this year and it still puts a smile on my face everytime!

That looks great Ross, it is a brilliant colour! And I love your plate!

Thanks! The registration I had my eye on for years, and it was set to go in for auction so I thought I best get it! An investment for life though!

Stunning !

Going for same colour again on the wheels, or...............?

Not overly sure, when I showed my cousin he said it'd look mega with if the wheels were black... I'm toying with the idea (saw a yellow Seat Leon with black alloys and though it looked quite smart) but for some reason I quite like the wheels the way they are... We'll see I need to save up first! I've mentioned this 'botch refurb' ex owner/dealership so I've attached evidence as to what I'm dealing with! Should anyone know of decent wheel refurb place in Suffolk/surrounding areas feel free to let me know!

I know a STUNNING place in Beccles, Suffolk

They are the people we use at work and they kind of "specialise" in Wheels. I had mine done there couple of weeks ago. and its the 4th or 5th set i've had done with them.

I BELIEVE its £200 if you bring wheels with tyres and they'll do the wheels, re-fit tyres and balance.

Or £250 for a same-day drive-in drive-out service.

And the finish will be superb.

Yeah I know where abouts Beccles is, about an hour away from where I am! But to be honest I'd travel as long as it takes to get them looking good again! I'll grab some details as and when I've saved up for them!

They'd just need to be able to withstand my pressure washer and I'll be happy! With every wash I find a bit of silver coating being blasted across the driveway, slightly annoy for someone meticulous in keeping their car looking mint!

My local body shop did a good job of a wheel I had refurbed. Was £50 each wheel. That's about half an hour drive from bury.

I had them put 4 or 5 coats of lacquer on mine.

Reckon they'd withstand one of them 60'000 psi water cutting jets - let alone the weekly wash

Buckenham Blast Cleaning is the place. Ask for John or Karen. Tell them Syer sent you should you use them..............
