197: Earthing Points?

Anyone know where all the earthing points are on the 197?

I seem to have some kind of electrical issue that effects the rear speakers, the only thing i can think it is is a bad earth connection somewhere?

are they standard speakers??

nope, the standard plastic renault speakers work fine in the back, but a pair of infinity speakers send it all a bit nuts, sparks & melting tweeters, it seems to be some kind of metal on metal connection causing it as when fitting the speaker a spark jumps between speaker & chassis, it could be the huge magnets on the back of the speakers, guys at the car audio shop say a ground point in my car must be off

not really sure what it could be but after market speakers can playing up sometime.

How are the aftermarket speakers fitted? In my old mini I fitted speakers but the cage managed to ground via the screws I used to fit it so had to insulate them

the speakers fit right onto the factory slot, i did get the feeling using nylon screws might solve the problem, but the metal speaker will still touch metal on the car which is likely to be the underlying cause, that or faulty batch of speakers
