Dipstick pop out

Crankcase pressure causes it usually I think, I would be checking -
Check oil level, make sure it's not over full
Check engine breathers are clear

Maybe the dipstick's seal gave up? And where our breathers located?
What cause the crankcase to have presaure, how to solve it?

Crankcase pressure is caused by "blow by" I believe which is a small amount of combustion gasses making their way past the piston rings into the crank. The PCV system helps relieve pressure by allowing it to mix with air going in to the engine. It very well may be the dipstick seal and it's worth replacing. Was there any oil in the engine bay around the dipstick area?

Ok ds ,no oil around it
Joe, the oil is 90% between min to max and when it pops out it got out till the seal ( its still in the hole so no rpm change /noise)
I will check the breather later to avoid it in this case and maybe replace the dipstick ,after all that if no solution soo.... Open engine?[emoji24]

Ok i wi but personally i think if it was blowen o ring so the dipstick would stay inside and the air/gases would pass through that.
Plus i also think even with a blowen o ring the dipstick not suppose to pop out ,it show that something gone wrong ,but i will still check thx .

Should clean the breathing system on the way

The picture with the throttle body, I don't know what that is and I'm interested to know too! I've got mine blanked off with the KTR intake. Seems to be for the second intake?

the first one is the gearbox breather....

second one is pcv - the large round part next to throttle body...

the smaller pipe is the vacuum pipe for the secondary air inlet on the air filter - the white item is a one-way valve

pcv system on the 197/200 goes from top of rocker cover to inlet manifold via that valve arrangement next to the throttle body - ie its a closed loop type of system not vented to atmosphere

not aware of any others apart from the gearbox one...

Hope you get that sorted with warranty. I dont want to scare you and chill now before you read this, but when i was young i had Escort S2 turbo. When i destroeyed 1 piston with knocking it has so much blow to bottom end it popped oil cap off. But it was so obvious fault, it did run only 3 cylinders.

I dont have smoke, oil spit from the dipstick tube ,everything is ok no oil leaks/eat everything show its ok ,only thr dipstick.. After they will do their tests (compression, oil pressure etc ..) we will know better .
As for now the mechanic were concerned because of the noise that happen when you pull the dipstick/cap filler ,i told him i think 99% its ok and everyone has it
I hope for good [emoji106] [emoji106]
Btw the mechanic didnt even wanted to touch the breathers![emoji15]
