Do it! Well worth the £80, and took them less than two hours!!

    Cheers mate! Really pleased.

Just got to sit by the post box for the next couple of days, waiting for plates, diamonds & V5!

Had a feeling if I waited till the end you’d do the launch!
Such a great mod for the money, I’ve been testing my GoPro today and have plenty of clips now with the burble and pops. Can’t get enough!
Well done for getting it done so quick, it’ll all be sorted by the end of next week!

Get the clips up man!! I’m sure we’d all want to see them!

So these all arrived today, still waiting on a rear plate and a 3/4 plate.
But I’m really liking the dual shorts, after a quick mock up onto the car!
Just waiting for that V5 haha

Only got one picture of the diamond, as it was dark. But really like them so far.
Just need that blade wrapping! It’s annoying me now haha.
Keep reading conflicting things about wether it’s bumper off or not. Need to have a proper look myself.

Haha it does look strange on reflection

I will have 5 in the end! They didn’t send out the standard size rear for some reason, so hopefully that’ll arrive soon. Also got a 3/4 height on order too.
Going to see which combination looks best, and the standard size plates to throw in the boot for any ‘very sorry officer’ moments.

I think the blade wrapped black would look great and tidy the front end up nicely

Cheers boys... yeah I’m going to hold off doing it just yet. But I completely agree! Will finish that nicely...

After some night shift eBay browsing, I decided to throw a cheeky low offer on some new wheels and tyres. Didn’t expect it to be accepted AT ALL, butttttt it was haha.

Go and pick these up next week!

17” Team Dynamic Pro Race 1.2’s
    4 x Federal 595 RS-R’s

Gave the mrs the logic of ‘I’ll have to buy new tyres at some point anyways won’t I?!’
Appears to have worked for now haha!

Not sure if they’ll be daily’s, see how they look, but perfect track day wheel. Always been a personal choice.

    LOL good old 'man logic'!

Just for bit of inspiration, my favourite mk4, complete with black wheels and blade:

Well it appeared to work, so it must have SOME kind of normal logic to it too haha

That is lovely!!! Love the cup spoilers too, but SOOOO expensive!
I like the idea of the side pod black, though.

    They’re 17 x 7J ET45
    2 x 225/45/17
    2 x 215/45/17

So I’m hoping that the ET not being a million miles away, they’ll just sit in the arches a little wider.
Plus, I’ll put the wider tyres on the rear, so less chance of scrubbing.

    Major fingers crossed moment haha

That’s not too bad a match. The original is 18 x 7.5 ET53 as you probably know.

Is that the trophy standard fitment?

As I was under the impression the standards are 17 x 7.5j ET55?

    Cup packs and Trophy are 18 x 7.5, non-Cup with the Tibor alloys are 17 x 7.5 I believe.
I got my ET wrong, both are 55

Ahhh that’s cool, I was thinking I’m sure the offset is 55 haha

Just be handy to have a spare set knocking around for track days I think. Especially as they’ve already got enough tyre for a trackday or two

It’s the perfect arrangement to be honest, 17” track wheels are sought after by Mk4 owners, there isn’t much about in the 5 x 114.3 world so you’ve done really well. Also means that track rubber is cheaper in 17” too, AD08’s are something like £350 a set in a 17/215/45 fitment.
Plus they’re 1.2’s which are just lush!

Had a nightmare today with the 1.2’s....

Went to put them on, to take a daily wheel to get a valve replaced, and popped the centre out of a wheel.

Looks like I’ve overlooked the hub length of the Clio, and should of used a spacer. But that would of thrown the offset even more off and probably wouldn’t be doable.

Pain in the arse, but one of those things.

Looks like I’ll have to get rid of them and find something different. Well... get rid of three anyways haha.

Ouch! well, at least it happened when the car was on jacks rather than on the road I suppose...
