Yeah ITB's will make it worthwhile!

Ultimate hatch indeed would be a mk3 with a k20! Close 2nd an EG Civic with a k20 maybe - something cool about those!
If I ever had a mishap with my engine then with the standalone in, I really don't think it would be hard to put a k20 in! Or rather...no more costly to put a k20 in than rebuild a forged F4R.
 
They are fantastically well engineered the K20 lumps, just give and give without any fuss. The gearbox was great too. The one thing that let the Type R down for me was the crappy electronic steering rack, while it's quick and direct it just felt dead and offered very little feedback. It's why I didn't' get another even though it was on my shortlist!

Would be a good car to have the Honda engine/gearbox in a chassis like the Clio. The Clio is far superior in chassis and steering feel after owning both.
