cam belt cover.?

wanting to remove the cam belt cover to polish it.
but the the top engine mount looks like it bolted to it.?
can i just un bolt the top mount and swing it out the way or do i need to support the engine.?
obviously wont be driving the car while its off.

at a guess as not looked at mine i would say you need to support the engine then unbolt it

it is the engine mount mate, make sure you defo support the engine chap!

the top engine im sure you can swing it out the way ill double check and mesage you mate

Did this on a mk2 with a friend, practically the same block with slightly different engine mount but still in same location.

Had to support lower offside of sump with block of wood and a jack before you remove it or it will fall out lol. trust me
