Bugger! need to do water pump again

The cambelt, water pump, aux belt were done before I owned the car but done by a one man band garage. I would have preferred a specialist or Renault completed job but there was an invoice showing the work so I didnt think much more about it.

I noticed I was loosing some coolant so got the car in for a checkover and oil change, sure enough the water pump is leaking possibly to poor fitment.

So I need to get it done again and apparently I may as well do the cam belt too? £1100 at Renault so Im thinking of using a specialist, anyone used Ren7oaks?

If the cambelt was changed not that long ago there shouldn't be any need to change it again, just change the waterpump.

Depends if he actually changed it. As the belt needs to come off anyway, it may be worth just fitting a new one.

From what I've read and seen Ren7Oaks are known for using autofactor/white box parts. I wouldn't trust the bearings in those things on my daughters stabilisers!
