Boring topic but I need info please!

Hi noticed I had a dipped bulb out so about to order replacement until I thought I might as well upgrade them all while I'm at it.

Im confused as to what I need..

Understand its W5W for the side lights?

And H7 for both main and dipped beams? So for main (below)

I'm an absolute noob! Do I just pick a less powerful bulb for the dipped side then? What do you recommend please!?

You probably won't notice much of a difference with the sidelights, however the Nightbreakers are spot on for colour and brightness IMO.

Another vote for Osram Nightbreaker Unlimited, great upgrade over standard . I got some LED sidelight bulbs from HID direct, weren't cheap at around £15 but have proved faultless. Just be sure to avoid Mtec bulbs as they're not any better than standard bulbs at all.

You don't need a more powerful bulb for main and a less powerful for dipped, they both take the same H7 bulb at 55W.

Side lights are W5W (also called 501).

I had Osram Nightbreaker Plus which were good and now have Philips X-treme Vision which are also good.

Thanks for the great info guys. So should I order 2 sets of the same bulb then for both dipped and main? Think I'll go for the Osram Night breakers
