    Hi guys,
So my first real post and thread on here, been lurking for a while reading threads and having recently becoming an owner thought why not join in the fun!
Picked up the clio for dirt cheap knowing it needed some tlc, as you will see from pictures any hints or tips are much appreciated along the way!

So this was the state of my drivers seat!
I got a quote from an upholstery company who quoted me £150 to retrim the one seat.
I took to facebook and managed to pick up a full set and swapped out the drivers and passengers seat as both were in better condition,

The swap was pretty straight forward and easy to do.
    Pictures to follow
New seats are in and have had a good clean up and will upload up to date pictures soon

What should have been silver were a lovely dark grey/brown colour.
I mixed water with washing up powder and get a toothbrush to scrub the solution into the belt. After what sempt like a daft video on youtube the belts came silver again!
After scrubbing the solution i unwound the belt fully, trapped it on the outside of the door and power washed away!

welcome :french: proper maintenance is the first thing to do, then enjoy it! I'd advise staying away from the Progress threads, unless you like spending £££'s :money::oops:

:tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy:It will be going for the updated service and possibly belts doing next month!
In the next 12 months i can see a few tasteful mods been done however for now im sticking with getting it road fit.
Fitted an aux cable that cost £4 from ebay and i think it may be the best mod to date :tearsofjoy: fitting was easy and straight forward
But thanks for the welcome messages

Well staying “standard” last around 3 weeks and the car is still declared as sorn!
Thinking of spending all my money on servicing and having nothing to show for it as such didnt sit very well.
So i picked up an ITG maxogen for a very nice price! Paid saturday and arrived monday, may find time to fit it today if not will be this week and will upload a fitted picture once in

So thats the maxogen all in and fitted! Abit of gentle force go everything out, majority of my time spent cracking the siezed bolt on the battery clamp.
Car will be coming off of SORN next friday and ready to be driven! Next on the list is refurbing the callipers in yellow and potentially carbon dipping the interior trims and the carbon instrument cluster(slight obsession)

There is no cold air feed to your ITG so you will definately loose power :worried: try to get it in some other position and get some cold air feed to it ... ;]

Nice @Enis, ive got some new brembo stickers for the fronts so will show you when i get round to them!
I did the inlet with steel wool, just gave it a good scrub wiped down with a wet cloth and looks brand new in person!
Yes @Pav plenty to do in the sun!
