Temps were perfect at Donnington yesterday
Just wasn't meant to be tho, after about 15 laps (coolant temps were perfect, around 85-90. Intake temps weren't too bad until the water/meth tank emptied.
It's been breathing heavily since Blyton anyway but thought it would survive another day! Blew the dipstick out, oil everywhere. Cleaned it up and decided to carry on and try to get a few more sessions in, Emptying the breather every 8 laps and topping up then it really started to get bad so game over. Time to get the new engine in!
Actually removed the whole scuttle!Try this calculator you might get away with a smaller air filter or T it off into two smaller filters using the space in front of the alternator maybe blocking that space might help force more air through the radiator and pulling the rubber seal might give better heat draw from the engine bay.
