Alarm help.

Hi all, searched and haven't found an answer so far

alarm goes off 9/10 times when the car is locked,

I have replaced the bonnet plunger, but no luck.

starting to get really annoying now, anyone know how to stop this.

even disabling the alarm (5clicks of stop/start) doesn't seem to do anything.

the car did not throw up any fault codes whilst when it was plugged in at the garage.

The immobiliser used to flash to say why it's going off.

Iirc the dealer can fit a damper to help prevent it going off.

Just disconnected battery and re connected, so far it's not gone off, I'll keep an ear out tho, my hopes aren't high it is french

when it does go off is this when I'm supposed to count the blinks on the immobiliser light?

Check that your footwells aren't wet (not that we've had much rain)

Yep count the blinks then look in the manual and it says what number mean what.

Don't start the engine or the blinks reset.

Had the same problem when car was having tailgate painted and basically ran the battery back up down. I have to disconnect the alarm which doesn't effect the immobilizer. Alarm obviously stopped going off.....

Any ideas of how to recharge the battery back up?

Foot Wells are dry. Checked all locks they all locks do shut.

So far so good with the disconnect battery. I'll keep updated though as it will probably happened again.
