Air intake and air filter

Hey guys,
I have a Clio 197 and I'm looking to change the air filter and the air intake hoses to get a few more bhp (or so I hope)
I'm considering K&N's air filter as well as K-TEC's option. For the intake hoses I was thinking about K-TEC's hoses or the Forge ones they also sell on their website.
Also wondering if a conical air filter would be better or not.
Anyway if anyone could help me decide or even give me more options, that would be very much apreciated!!

V6 airbox probably the best option for these.

The power gains on these engines is small, so it is difficult to say with any real certainty what difference the different air intakes make.

I had a K-Tec induction kit a few years ago and my Clio 200 made about 197 on K-Tex’s dyno.

Recently I had it on Engine Dynamics dyno with a v6 airbox and it made 206 bhp. The only real difference with the engine was ported and gas flowed inlet manifolds.

I doubt that the v6 made all the difference.

I would say if you want noise go for the K-Tex one. If you are really chasing a small performance gain try a v6 box.
