3m CarbonFibre Vinyl and dash inserts

I know some people here have experiment with applying CF to various internals of the cabin.

Has anyone used the 3m vinyl that is relatively cheap on fleaBay?
How easy is it to remove the dashboard insert in order to do a wrap on them?

Tips and tricks are appreciated :thumbup1:

There's loads of fake stuff on ebay, it should be very high quality and feel textured.

Fairly easy to work with on small things, centre it and work outwards using a lift and stretch technique to keep it smooth. Always try to wrap around something, rather than cut an edge and try doing it in a warm place having left the vinyl somewhere warm like a sunny windowsill.

I did my badge a while back, still looks good 12 months on. Excuse non-Renault content.

The 3M stuff is pretty much the only stuff you want to buy! I initially bought some other stuff and it was impossible to work with, needless to say I did it properly and it came out great. I got mine from www.undergroundgraphics.com decent company, quick delivery and reasonable prices too.
