The 197 Cup & the F1 comes with the Cup Chassis as Standard- THe red calipers are the giveaway- however as said they both have them as standard-
In terms of the 3-
A standard 197 has the keyless entry, Colour coded side strips, Spotlights & a few other ordinary bits-
The brake calipers are silver, the wheels are silver- it will have the standard seats-
On the older models (+ 07) the following options were available-
Recaros, Xenons, Climate Control, Cup Chassis, sunroof, Electric folding mirrors & a few other little bits-
Some other factory body parts could be added- Splitter, Sideskirts & cup spoiler
However not many BASE model 197's have these options-
IIRC the 197 cup was introduced on 57-
The cup looses the Keyless Entry, A/C, Spotlights & the colour coded side strips-
The base model does have the cup chassis & its the lighter version & the Wheels are colour coded Anthricite grey-
OPtions were
A/C, Recaros, Speedline wheels & of Course the above mentioned body extras-
The R27 Was available on 07- Limitied to 500 cars all numbered-
It comes with ALL the standard 197 base stuff PLUS
Recaros, Cup pack Chassis, Anthricite coloured wheels, F1 Decals.
Options on an R27 were Climate control, Xenon ( projector lights) & the extra body kit ( this is known as the aero kit), Electric heated folding mirrors.... & Plaque
Colours were- Liquid yellow ( extra 1200, Racing blue, Albi blue, Ultra red & black) - there was ONE white one made & is number 500/500- so If you see any white ones listed as an F1 - its not-
With a budget of up to 8k *IF* your looking to spend all that you will get a decent F1- obviously depends on what colour you want-
Look for a high spec one with the extras mentioned above-
If you want the cup version then again ideally A/C is important-
People rave on about recaros & TBH ideally they are in the spec list- just be aware that most have been repaired after 3 years as the cloth is poor on the wear front-
