197 cup chassis??

Jacked the car up today from the front nearside mount to change my wheel, and saw that when I jacked it up enough to remove the front, the REAR was also off the ground!

Does this mean I have a cup chassis, or do all 197s do that..

Relatively soft rear springs compared the rear anti-roll bar, happens on many FWD cars tbh..

no mate, they all do it, antherite wheels, red bramo calipers, aswel as stiffer 7mm lower suspnesion is part of the cup pack.

Never had it happen to me on any other car before. was worried the jack was going to bend in half!

Most basic jacks seem to be 1.5-2t car is less than 1.5t total so shoulnt be a problem, it's more a case of the car rolling as you only have a single wheel holding it on the handbrake.

Stick it in gear for added piece of mind.
