£600 roughly to spunk on the 197

quick question - If you had £600 spare to spend on a standard 197 what would you buy?

im thinking semi slicks, ds2500, braided hoses and good brake fluid.

This the best route to take to get it ready for track?

Federal RSR's, Nankangs ns2-R, Yoko AD08R's

and as long as the standard discs and pads are fine along with fresh standard fluod, it'll be perfect.

Just spend the rest on the track day/fuel and maybe an instructor

I'd get the welds checked on the centre section of your exhaust as an OE replacement system is expensive and stainless falls in the budget, if yours is good then:

Sprintbooster
ITG Maxogen
Cooksport/H&R springs

I'm going to inspect the car properly next week and see what's needed, got a feeling my exhaust maybe blowing but I'm not sure, if my pads have a fair bit of meat I may just buy a rear anti-roll bar instead.

spent just under £600 in the end

Ns-2R's x4
pipercross panel filter
stainless goodridge brake lines
AP racing 5.1 brake fluid x2
Ultra racing front strut brace

all with a bit of discount chucked in too :thumbup1:

Looks like a good list! Let us know how you get on the Ns-2R's and the strut brace as I've debated buying for ages.
