Has anyone used these with there audio setup? Was wondering if they would make a noticeable difference in radio signal strength compared to just a standard fakra adapter..

I've got a jvc kdx DVD headunit in atm but it's a bit worse for wear so will be installing an alpine HU soon that's display an stalk ready. Think there's only two alpine HU's on the market that work with the display in top of dash.

I'm running an aftermarket HU. You won't be Able to amp up the the factory HU as it doesn't have a phono out.

Ive run all my leads down passenger side under the plastic trim as you can pass a thick wire through the rubber grommet under the glove box to the battery. No need to take out seats then either. They've tucked away really well tbh. All my excess wire has been hidden under back seats.

Totally agree E3D on sound quality but for what I'm after this should do fine no messing about with extra phonos and what not! If your really passionate about your sounds then crack on with a proper amp and comps. 45w rms should be more than ample unless you don't like your neighbours lol.

Just had another look.. Bearing in mind you already have a alpine HU.. Remove HU and unplug HU harness from back of HU leaving it still connected to car loom. Place male connector for inline amp straight into back of HU (standard fitment alpine-alpine) connect female connector for in line...

It's looks plug and play from what I've seen on YouTube. One end connects directly to in alpine HU and the other in to the cars loom. Only seen people start chopping if its a different brand stereo e.g pioneer HU/alpine amp. Could well be wrong just going from what I researched this evening...

Has anyone installed the plug&play alpine in-line amp (ktp-455) ? Did see someone mention it in a thread a while back but no feedback as of yet?....Seems like a great mod for the money! Opinions?
