    Two in Lanzarote

Saw a Nimbus R27 in or around Mancha Blanca (I think) and a LY R27 in Teguise. Very jealous, some of the roads there are incredible. Well, I can only image so - I was in a hired Fiat 500 1.2 that struggled with any sort of incline!

    Black 200T on A616

Spotted just before the bridge under the A629, I was in my blue 197. I think it's the first 200T I've seen that wasn't at a forum meet up!

    LY R27 Shell garage Rotherham

Spotted you brimming up at Shell Canklow Bridge, I was jet washing the missus' Z4. Don't know if you were there with the LY 225 and the black 250 that were there around about the same time? Anyway, car looked awesome in the sun

Cracked manifold... check your engine mounts!

A couple of weeks ago I was giving the engine bay a clean, and also under the scuttle panel. It was then I noticed the dreaded soot around the welds on the manifold flange - cylinders 2 and 3 in this case. The odometer was on 63,900, and the car is now about 6.5 years old. After going from the...

    Contacting Renault for a favour...

So it turns out my Clio was originally a Renault UK company car, with a stamp in the handbook confirming this. (I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing! But it seems fine six years down the line.) It's still got the original Renault U.K. Ltd plates, which have begun to fade and have...

White 200 Sheffield Parkway this morning

The girlfriend reports that she spotted a rather nice looking 200 (FV59***) this morning at around 6:50, she was following in her Ka! Anyone on here? Joe

    RB R27 M1-A1 Link today

I was on an economy run (being paid for mileage), you were making progress. Gave you a thumbs up and a flash, got a beep back :thumbup1: My colleague in the car was amazed that's what us Clio owners do - she just doesn't understand! :( Joe

Just a reminder when doing anything with a jack...

Just thought I'd post this as I had a bit of a heart-in-mouth moment and nearly lost my right hand... Had the car up at the front on the Renault jack just to remove the wheel to clean it. I'd chocked the other wheel with a trusty wedge of wood, car in reverse (slight downward slope on the...

It won't stay like this, but...

... worth it for the results. Washed it with Fairy, clayed, AG Super Resin polish, Turtlewax nano wax. Also AG bumper and trim gel on the plastics, and AG glass polish on the windows. Couple from home... Then went up to Boston Castle round the corner, unfortunately the light was...

    Quick clean and sunset

With the surprisingly nice weather today, I gave the 197 a quick going over - just a wash with some Born to be Mild, Meg's wax and Autoglym Glass Polish. Only just got all the wax off after leaving it to cure before the sun set! Took it out on one of the nearby lanes and took a couple of...

    Red 200 M1 Meadowhall

Came past me on the left as the M1 Southbound splits for Meadowhall, gave you a flash. Looked very shiny, unlike mine which is currently encrusted in B-road muck.

    Black 197 (CE56***) Rotherham

Just been looking at houses on Rightmove, just seen this motor outside a rather nice terraced house in Thorpe Hesley. Anyone on here's? Do I really want to be your neighbour?! :p

    Soon to be 197 owner...

...well, when the right one comes around. I've got a dCi 106 in Initiale guise at the moment, originally bought because I was commuting from Leeds to Sheffield daily. I've now moved to within a mile from work, so a 197/200 is now on the cards. Perhaps I am being a little too picky, but I'm...
