Big Bens non Clio

Exactly Micah. Would strongly advise anyone wishing for a passenger lap to wait until the afternoon session so as I have time to have a few ‘moments’ on my own in the morning:grinning:

Remind me not to go in front of you in the event you cook your pads! That's if I can even get out of the garage, all depends how fruity @Pav is feeling.
Glad you're feeling positive about the whole thing though - I'm just re-living the quick chat we had at Blyton, all seems to have paid off, and seems to have been done in very good time compared to others.

glad you are liking your car more and more..think i felt the same as you for the first few weeks..you will get used to it,especially the gearbox...i dropped my car off at Trev's in the morning to have the gear linkages adjusted too..
i also do recommend to upgrade your pads for a track use at least..you will need it :thumb:
what needs looking at Ben??

Also love your new thread name

Pads are DS2500 all round which should be better than standard. Just thinking of trying something even better!
Emissions light is on but that just down to smf and ED will map that out. ABS light is on! No idea why. And exhaust is vibrating so needs adjusting.

DS 2500 are great for everyday use too, that's why I really rate them..if on track then it would be a sensible thing to upgrade to something like Peter has mentioned above..

yeah dont worry about the emission light, like you said,it will have been mapped out...as for the ABS light, maybe your ABS sensor on one of the front wheels got damaged..i had the same light on when my went a couple of years ago..

hope all is sorted and you can enjoy The Beast :thumb:

Brembo High Carbon seem up to the job and are relatively cheap for a Clio.
Not sure on your trophy though James
im fitting some H&R lowering springs before beford and im just wondering wether i should fit some new pads and fluid (maybe disks) while i have the chance.

Throwing some money about mate!:thumb:
New pads and disks always better. Depends how much left on old stuff

Bit of manic week here, and not been on for a few days.

Glad on the most part all is well; and adjusting to Boost-life is proving jaw-achingly good Ben.

Engine bay pics look spot on buddy. Roll on mapping and some extra ponies........

Haha. We’ll have to do that again!
Use roadtrackrace or Kamracing for performance parts
just been doing some research and i know mines a megane but theres a few who rate the performance friction pads Z rated.
alot cheaper than ds2500.
anyone know how much it would cost labour wise to change pads fluid and brake lines?
