    Massively torn...

One reply to all seeing as I took so long... The only cars I've had prior are a L'reg Micra and a Corsa C. Did a fair bit of commuting in the Corsa for 4 years and was actually very comfortable, sport has come as a bit of a shock. But I think/hope I can achieve sporty and comfortable...

    Massively torn...

Ouch that's quite a drive every day. I could quite easily spend more and find something exciting but just can't afford it. And unfortunately I don't have the balls to buy something crazy fun with high mileage.

Lol I did wonder how long it would take for someone to suggest that.

    Massively torn...

I guess I'm in a slightly different position. I haven't spent anything on modifications and only had her about 8 months. I did fork out for the 5 year service last month but i'd long accepted that was coming and that's all shes cost me to run. I'm not sure I could have resisted a Megane...

    Massively torn...

Over the last few weeks I've been considering my options car wise. As much as I love the clio, it's not a practical commuter car. I don't think the recaros are doing my back any good. Then there's all the things I knew when I bought it, gearings a bit short so it's noisy/thirsty, rides very firm...

    Air Con Not Working

Had mine re-gased today, was 2/3 full and wasn't kicking in at all when turned on. Now it works fine, can't say whether anything had to be reset though.

    Large camera mounts

Would a suction cup mount be that bad as long as it's not mounted on the windscreen? I assume they don't want them falling onto drivers, or off the car if it's outside. Incase anyone is interested (and because everyone loves Clio noise) I thought I'd add a compilation of a few test videos...

    Newbie - Mel

So far Rentech have been brilliant to me, can't recommend them enough. Had a chat about 5 year service with them a while back and think it came to around £700 for belts & bits, water pump, and oil etc.

Who have you been wasted by so far.

370Z was quick on the straights not corners though :-) and a GT2, that was quick

    Large camera mounts

I have a bit of rectangular metal tube lying around, I'm going to try fixing that between to two seats using the strap holes. Then use one of the above clamps. Need to get a half cage seems almost easier.

    Large camera mounts

Cheers link would be very much appreciated, looks like a good position. I did wonder whether I'd get away with with a sucker type one.

    Clio Cup Thruxton

No idea but the difference between front and back is rather extreme. The rear looked standard as far as I could tell.

    Large camera mounts

Does anyone use anything other than gopros etc for track day videos? I have a micro 4/3s camera which does decent video, it's a bit smaller/lighter than a small DSLR. Not sure of the best method of mounting it though. I've tried a decent plunger mount 2 places. Passenger side window which...
