X85 SUSPENSION V GAZ GOLDS

as the heading states, what's peoples thoughts?

my issue is I have X85 set up all ready to bolt to the car including the bilstein suspension, but had Gaz Golds on my last Clio and I absolutely gelled with them

Before I commit to the bilsteins and weld the X85 top plates onto the strut tops, should I go back to Gaz golds?

Any input appreciated

For track? I don’t think there’s must of a comparison really.

You’ve got a coilover which has been made for the job, vs. something which costs less than 1500 quid

I think the X85 Bilsteins will be used for £1500. Only place I can see that sells them is out of stock and only lists used parts.

If you've got the parts already I would just stick with them. Why deal with the hassle of trying to sell parts?

Look like I’m going to run with the Bilsteins, so I’m committing to welding the top plates in place.
Any pictures from you guys that show the correct position for these. I’m thinking like in the pictures??

I have an FIA tech doc for the Clio R3 phase one it in allowed modified panels by bashing them with a hammer and I see the top mounts but it was all in French Grp A , R3 and F2000. Then it goes on to the front subframe for cup racer mods
