Hi all can anyone confirm whether the bolt holes on the wishbone subframe mounts should look like this. cheers. just put a brand new wishbone on, and car has failed mot for play in wishbone bush.

it didnt really get solved did it. no one has categorically said whether this is normal. if anything people have said its not normal. i have seen pictures of brand new mk2 subframes and the same hole is elongated . so to be honest with you any advice ive had off here has been pretty much vagueand guess work by everyone.
this thread shows slotted too, but in the way they are slotted it doesn’t look like they could allow play unless the bushes themselves were failing.
