Wishbone poly bushes

Has anyone fitted these? Any tips?

Do you know a garage who has done them/can do them?

TIA

I have always fitted them using a press, but I guess with another set of hands, it may be possible with a vice. The front bush is easy to pop in using a vice.

Putting a big jubilee clip around the rear bush helps to start getting it into the arm square. It took me a while on mine when I did them, as the bush kept shifting. I just went for it in the end and it popped right in.

If your working on the arm bushes you can do the ball joint at any time but the bushes do the smaller forward arm bush first as you will be temped to stand the arm up on the larger arm bush end to push out the old one if you take the larger arm bush out first the end is more likely and will crush with the pressure and the arm is a right off. Heating the area that the bush presses into helps reduce the pressure needed and better chance a MAP gas torch is better as you have to put heat into the area at a high rate as it will conduct away quickly making the whole arm to hot to hold.
