Can anyone help? I'm looking for a wiring diagram for a 56 plate 197. The nearside sidelights fuse keeps blowing and I want to trace it back.

I have been told that an auto electrican would charge a fortune..

check the rear number plate bulb holders!!

Foxspeed, done that and changed the bulbs. went for MOT and fuse blew just before going in, changed fuse again from a 10A to a 25A and it still blew.. Have looked at the wiring and cannot see any nicks or shorts... I am completly baffled..

when does it blow?

when you turn the lights on?

if so unplug the number plate lights and see what happens - and basically unplug the side lights around the car until it stops - if it doesnt then its probably a rubbing wire - i would then be looking at the front wiring looms to the headlights/side lights or water/corrosion in a multi-plug

They seemed to blow when the lights were switched on...
