Winter Wheels..

Living out here in Germany it is law to have two sets of wheels. Summer wheels and winter wheels with snow tyres. I need yo buy now my winter wheels but I don't know the center bore of my wheels or what size I'd have to buy to fit over the brakes. Can anyone help me out?

Legal requirement to own winter wheels? Wow.
I can't imagine you'd be able to get a "Cheap" set due to the clearance required. Have you tried ringing Renault to find the sizes you'd need for clearance?

They are a jap fitting, I'd say you could buy cheaper ones for that.

I bought a set of 197 alloys for £120, intend to throw some nasty chinese winter rubber on them and bounce off some curbs.

Can you do the same in Germany?

I knew it was law to have winter tyres in Germany but a whole separate set of wheels is a bit much I think. Surely just changing the tyres to winter ones would be enough.

I have to sets of wheels for my 200 but I really need to get the 'winter' set on soon.

Was looking at other RS wheels from either a 197/200 or even the Meg 250 but measurements are all different

One option is winter shoes on the cup wheels,
pirelli also has a 18 in winter tyre, deliverable mid dec, i was told..
